https://fileinfo.com/extension/wem
What is a WEM file?
File created by Wwise (WaveWorks Interactive Sound Engine), a sound engine used for producing video game audio; contains audio data encoded in the Wwise proprietary format; uses a format that allows sounds to be modified in real-time during gameplay; may be packaged within a game archive rather than stored as a standalone game asset file.

Replying to mirh:
While I'd certainly like for somebody to figure out encoding, so that no proprietary tools are needed anymore.. Isn't this a bit too specific? Vgmstream should already handle it.
I do not know.
It would only be great if it was added to FFmpeg and I could easily play in MPC-HC (clsid's fork).

Isn't this missing a sample file?
